Vegas odds of the day
NHL DFS Goalie
Ville Husso – DK $8.1K || FD $7.9K
Opponent – Chicago Blackhawks
With a small slate like this, it’s important to configure netminder properly. The majority of the field is Lightning’s Andrei Vasilevski, but we’ll focus on Red Wings’ Ville Fusso. The Netminder has seen the extreme ends of the spectrum to start the season with 1 shutout and his 5 runs in 2 games. Fusso made a large acquisition during the Red Wings offseason to strengthen his position and eventually gain consistency. Coming off his first major season in the NHL, his Husso has a lot of room for improvement despite having a good start to his career. Chicago is a great way to get back on the winning row and regain form after his 5-4 loss to the Kings four days ago. The Blackhawks have his second-worst offense in both expected goals – 5.68 – and scoring chances – 62. Fusso finds himself in an ideal situation for tonight.
Other Considerations (Cash/GPP): Georgiev (DK $8.4K || FD $8.6K), Mrazek (DK $7.3K || FD $7.1K)
Center
Nathan McKinnon-DK $9.2K || FD $10,000
Opponent – Seattle Kraken
Fantasy darlings themselves are heavily owned tonight in this little 3-game slate for good reason. In four appearances, McKinnon has two goals, six assists, 20 shots and one block on his shots. Those are big numbers considering Nazem Kadri moved to the Flames in the offseason and the bulk of the offense fell on his shoulders after captain Gabriel Landeskog was sidelined with an injury. In addition, Seattle is his eighth-worst defense in expected goals (13.56) and his sixth-worst defense in scoring chances (155), which gives the center man continued success. I can.
Jonathan Toos – DK $3.8K || FD $5.1K
Opponent – Detroit Red Wings
Toews is a shell of his former self, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t produce at all. The veteran center has 2 goals, 7 shots and 3 blocks in 3 games this season. His peripheral stats are something that needs to be highlighted. Toews isn’t that big of a shooter and he’s never played a shot-blocking role, but he’s lackluster and he seems to be doing everything for the Blackhawks for a reasonable salary. This will be a fast-paced matchup against his young Red Wings team, with Toews needing to reach higher form to keep the team in the game.
Other Considerations (CASH/GPP): Stamkos (DK $8.4K || FD $9.5K), Larkin (DK $5.9K || FD $7.2K)
NHL DFS Wings
wings
Valeri Nitushkin – DK $7K || FD $8.2K
Opponent – Seattle Kraken
Nitushkin’s salary skyrocketed, and for good reason. The winger not only had one goal, one assist, four shots and two blocked shots in Nathan McKinnon’s previous games, but this season he has five goals, three assists, 15 shots and five blocked shots. increase. 4 games –. This is the Nichushkin the Dallas Stars wanted when they drafted him in their 2013 NHL Draft. The winger is the perfect complement to Avalanche in the absence of captain Gabriel Landescog. Nichushkin brings good playmaking and good shots, as well as his physical prowess. Until he moved out of the McKinnon line, he worked on all the systems.
Dominic Kubarik – DK $3.7K || FD $4.6K
Opponent – Chicago Blackhawks
For a ‘cash’ game lineup, it’s not always best to run a low-shotting winger, but Kubarik is in a good matchup and a worthy place. The winger moved to the top line after teammate Tyler Bertuzzi made an IR-blocking shot with his hand. and blocked one shot. Prior to joining the top line, Kubalik didn’t have these marginal stats. This is worth noting. He has 1 goal, 2 assists, 4 shots and 1 block in 3 games this season. This is a big value his play, and Kubarik should take the lead tonight thanks to Chicago’s lackluster defense.
Other Considerations (CASH/GPP): Kucherov (DK $7.4K || FD $9.3K), Tkachuk (DK $6.8K || FD $8.5K)
NHL DFS Defenseman
Moritz Cider – DK $5.6K || FD $6.3K
Opponent – Chicago Blackhawks
After one poor performance against the Kings, Cider is paid less than he should have been. Defense has been a revelation for the Red Wings thanks to his strong two-way play. He’s also a perfect “cash” contender due to his peripheral stats.Sader has 11 shots and 5 blocks in 3 games this season. Surprisingly, he still has no talking points, but it won’t last long. Take advantage of his low salary with good matchups before he starts rising again.
Gustav Forsling – DK $5.5K || FD $5.7K
Opponent – Tampa Bay Lightning
Forsling is the ultimate ‘cash’ defense option in the small slate tonight. The two-way defender is soaking up as much time as possible for injured Aaron Ekblad IR and Brandon Montour DTD at the Panthers’ blue line. When Forsling got the bump in minutes, he saw ice time increase for his 12 minutes. It was a colossal jump and he hasn’t looked back since and in two games he achieved 1 goal, 2 assists, 10 shots and 4 blocks of his shot. Tampa Bay hasn’t been strong defensively this season, giving the force ring more chances to shoot and potentially blocking shots from Tampa’s energetic offense.
Other Considerations (CASH/GPP): Headman (DK $7.5K || FD $7.2K), Girard (DK $4.1K || FD $4.6K)
