Goalie slow start, NHL trade talk

The Calgary Flames start the season with a 3-1 record, but they have one area to improve. Goaltending has so far been done in a no-nonsense fashion. But after signing a two-year extension to reward Dan Vlader’s amazing preseason and growth, the tandem was supposed to be top of the NHL. Meanwhile, the Montreal Canadiens are looking for defensemen in his NHL trade his market, and Rivers’ retro his jersey is still being talked about across the continent.

The Calgary Flames have another tough opponent when the powerful Carolina Hurricane hits town tonight. And neither Vlader nor No. 1 goalkeeper Jacob Markstrom have been great so far.
