“Best of the Best” 4th Annual Jury Exhibition
The exhibit runs through October 29th at The Brick Gallery at 23 SW Broadway St. in Ocala. This year’s judge was James O’Leary, a Florida-based artist and educator. The exhibition features artwork in various mediums by 50 MCA artist members. All exhibits are for sale and a portion of the sales support his MCA and its mission.

Blow Up II – Inflatable Contemporary Art
Larger-than-life inflatable art transforms the Edith-Marie Appleton Gallery and museum lobby at the Appleton Museum at 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd. in Ocala. The Appleton Museum of Art (4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala) is exhibiting “Invented Observations: Photographs by Steven Benson” in the Balcony Gallery at Florida Arts through November 6. Benson is a professor at Daytona State University and a recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts of the Midwest. “Find Beauty”
The exhibit features numerous costumes, set photos, interactive experiences, sketches, fabrics and videos of the costume design process.
