Blue Jackets 2, Capitals 1: Yegor ChinakhovThe third preseason goal was tied in the third period, as the Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the Washington Capitals, 2–1, at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus.

Jakub Vrana He scored a goal and an assist in his preseason debut. Alex Nederikovic He made 14 saves in two periods for the Red Wings.Sebastian Cossa stopped all seven shots he faced in the third to keep the shutout.

Alex Sturrock 32 saves for the Blackhawks.

Vrana gave Detroit a 1–0 lead at 1:44 of the third period and scored on a one-timer from low in the right circle from a pass from Raymond.

Dylan Larkin It was 2-0 at 11:46 and Raymond scored at 14:29 for a 3-0 final.

Kraken 4, Canucks 0: Philip Gulbauer He made 17 saves against the Seattle Kraken in a 4-0 victory over the Vancouver Canucks at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.

Gulbauer has stopped all 27 shots he has faced in two preseason games.

Thatcher Demko Made 22 saves for the Canucks.

Matty Beniers They defeated Demco Grove side from a high slot to give Seattle a 1-0 lead at 6:42 of the second period.
