Seattle — Andrey Svechnikov When Sebastian Ajo The Carolina Hurricanes earned three points each in their third straight win in a 5-1 matchup against the Seattle Kraken at the Climate Pledge Arena on Monday.
Svechnikov had two goals and one assist while Aho gave the Hurricanes a goal and two assists as they started the season at 3-0-0. Frederick Andersen Recorded 22 saves.

“When you make mistakes against a good team, you make mistakes, especially when they’re under pressure,” Seattle manager Dave Huxtle said. Aho gave a 2-0 lead at man advantage when he gave one feed from Svetnikov at the edge of the left faceoff circle at 12:11.

“Tonight’s special team was huge for us,” said Aho. “Get a couple with power [play] Clearly the penalty was solid, so that was the game. I think we moved the puck well and tried to overwhelm the opponent’s penalty kick. Those were big goals at the time. ”
